We adapted Zoe to complete our kitty house. She was a found feral cat by our local shelter. Looking back, I think she needed more growing space and more time to adapt at the shelter. She was very nervous when we brought her home and was very skiddish. She doesn’t like loud noises or to be surprised which to her was walking into a room and not hearing you. She is working up to be held and really wants love and affection but on her terms. We attempted to have a vet come and check her out but she ran and was going to scratch her too much.
She is a beautiful loving cat but our older cat doesn’t like her. Zoe wound up spraying to mark her territory. We moved her to a fully furnished basement with windows and set her up with a great space.
Our basement flooded and we had to move Z upstairs. It has not been going well.
Zoe is a beautiful girl that needs loving folks to give her what she needs - love, affection and safety. She adores hiding and sleeping under a couch & looking out windows.
