Meet Cassidy, an approximately 9-month-old pup with a compact little build and a personality that will melt your heart. Our best guess is that he may be a hound and terrier mix, but whatever his breed blend is, it created one very lovable dog.
Cassidy is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves spending time with people. One of his favorite things to do is flop right onto his back and ask for belly rubs. The moment he feels comfortable, over on his back he goes, ready to soak up all the love and belly rubs you are willing to give.
He has the fun, playful spirit of a young dog but also enjoys relaxing and being close to his people. Cassidy would love a home where he can be part of the family and share plenty of cuddles and companionship.

The higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.
We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in Bexar county TX +usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

We are a group of loving and dedicated individuals who work together to save as many deserving animals as we can. We work tirelessly to assure the animals are well fed, socialized, are healthy and then find them the wonderful home they only dreamed of in the shelter or starving on the streets.
