Meet the Pet
This helps The Furry Farm Rescue with pet care costs.
Winnie is officially ready for adoption!
7 mo Spayed Female Pug
Current Vaccinations, Microchip, dewormed, numerous vet visits and more
Good with EVERYONE! dogs, cats, kids, grumpy ole men.
Adoption fee is $350
As a puppy, going through a brutal attack and then enduring procedure after procedure was a tough way to start life. Luckily, little Winnie landed safely with us. We were offering to help the owners, but ultimately they chose to surrender her to us because of the amount of work involved with her care.Winnie was attacked by another dog, we don't know any details, but her lower jaw was broken and they did some temp fix, but then her feeding tube came out and the owner had no more funds. So we offered to help get the feeding tube put back in, but then they decided her continued care would be overwhelming. We said yes.
Then we found out more to the story. Long story short, we chose to follow our vets advice and we removed 1/4 (lower right side) of Winnie's jaw. She had completely healed up and is doing marvelous. We have also given Winnie the Rhinoplasty surgery often needed with these flat nose face cute buttons.
Please submit an application at thefurryfarmrescue.org to be considered for her. We do not place first come, we vet applicants for the very best fit for the dog. Puppy Kindergarten and Obedience training are contract requirements. We will only respond to completed applications for Winnie.
