Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- If you are interested in learning more about any of our cats or kittens, please submit a completed adoption application.
- Interview
- Once we receive your application, one of our team will reach out to discuss any questions or request any clarification, as required.
- Meet the Pet
- Once your application has been approved, we will make an appointment to meet the cat or kitten of interest in its foster home.
- Home Check
- We always complete a home check for our adoptions. Often, this home check is done when we deliver the new cat or kitten to your home.
Go meet their pets
All of our cats and kittens are housed in foster homes on Salt Spring Island and Vancouver Island. Once we have approved an application and completed a telephone interview with an applicant, we set a meeting in the appropriate foster home.
We also hold adoption events to feature our adoptable cats and kittens both in Victoria (at Capital Cat Clinic) and on Salt Spring Island (at Whiskers Pet Store and Foxglove Farm and Garden Centre).
