Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peppercorn arrived at the shelter with a badly broken front left leg. The veterinary staff decided amputation was the safest decision for this gentle girl. She is recovering well, and she loves pets. She will reach out to you if you stop petting her before she is ready to quit. We do not yet know how she is with dogs and other cats, but we're working on it. Please come and meet her at the Petco Adoption Center.

Our adoption fee is $50 for dogs 7 months and older, $175.00 for dogs under 7 months, and $50.00 for kittens and $25 for adult cats. There is an adoption application that must be filled out and approved. Once the application is approved a meet and greet and home visit must be completed before an animal can go home.

We are open to the public for adoptions daily Monday-Saturday 10-6, and closed on Sundays and all major holidays.

We are at the PetSmart in Ocala every day at our 7-day cat center 3-6 pm We are at the Petco in Ocala mon-Fri 10-12 & Sun 10-2. Please go to our website www.thehsmc.org site to see the different events and activities we are involved in throughout the year.
