My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We believe Benjamin was abandoned by his former owner. Understandably, he has been a bit sour about the whole thing. That's not to say he's a bad cat - not by any means - but it does mean he's going to need someone who can be a little patient with him at first. It'll take a little a while for his heart to heal.
He doesn't mind being held and seems to enjoy pets. He currently co-houses with other feline shelter residents, so he would probably do okay in a multi-cat household. He has acted fine around small kids that have come to the shelter to visit him, but we are unsure about dogs.
If interested in meeting this chonky boy, please stop by the shelter with all human family members. Thank you!
