Junior is a male black and tan purebred Dachshund. Junior’s DOB is 05/22/2025 and he weighs 15 lbs. Junior is neutered, vaccinated including rabies. He tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventive. Junior is ready for adoption.
Junior was owner surrendered because of the passing of his human. Junior is a gentle-natured and loving boy. Junior is a very long boy with some chonky feet! He was pad trained and never kenneled before, so he has had to learn the kennel and outside potty training and has made great strides. Junior is definitely a smart fellow. He enjoys other dogs. Junior is also fine with new people though a bit shy. He needs to learn the leash. Junior would love to bring his long-eared, sad-faced, goofy love to a family looking for a canine buddy.
Adoption fee is $350. Must apply: Application for adoption is located at http://fs19.formsite.com/JeffTarpleyRescue/application/index.html

Jeff Tarpley Rescue is a full-time volunteer rescue effort dedicated to helping dogs. All dogs for adoption are rescued from shelters or owner surrenders. Puppies under 4 months old are vaccinated and dewormed several times, with a spay/neuter contract required for adoption. The vetting of an adult dog includes spay/neuter, vaccinations including rabies, and heartworm testing. Dental work and treatment of heartworms, cherry eye, mange, parvo exposure and broken limbs are some examples of what is done to save lives. Shot and medical records come with the dog upon adoption and include the last date heartworm prevention was administered.
