My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clarabelle is ready for a happily-ever-after! ✨

With a name like Clarabelle, you might think of the cheerful Disney classic Clarabelle Cow — but this Clarabelle is a lovely gray rescue kitty hoping to become the star of someone’s home. She is estimated to be about 2-3 years old, and she is living in a foster home in the Columbus area. If you can’t adopt her, please help by sharing her post!

Friendly, playful, frisky, and very sure of herself, this confident kitty struts through life like she owns the place (because, honestly, she probably does). She’s smart, inquisitive, and just a little ornery—okay, maybe more than a little—but that’s part of her charm. Clarabelle will keep you endlessly entertained with her hilarious voices, dramatic commentary, and strange little sounds that will absolutely make you laugh out loud. Meows, chirps, squeaks? Yes. All of them. Frequently.

Despite her mischievous streak, Clarabelle is a total lovebug. She’s a certified purr-baby with a motor that could power a small appliance, and she lives for affection. One of her favorite hobbies is snuggling herself right between your legs like she was custom-designed to fit there. Warm. Cozy. Immaculate vibes.

Outgoing, funny, and full of personality, Clarabelle is equal parts comedian, cuddle buddy, and tiny chaos gremlin. If you want a cat who will make you laugh daily, talk back often, and snuggle like a champ, Clarabelle is ready to take over your home—and your heart.

Clarabelle gets along with the other kitties in her foster home, but she has no experience around dogs or kids. She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and she’s current on vaccinations. She’s also been spayed and microchipped. We have a consult scheduled with a specialist for further evaluation of her right eye. Though it improved upon treatment for a URI, as you can see, it still looks a bit different.

🚨 Note that adopters MUST have a history with a veterinary clinic that can be verified, and an application MUST be submitted prior to arranging a meeting.

💻 If you’re located in Ohio, and you’re interested in meeting/adopting Clarabelle, submit an application via the Forgotten 4-Paws website - https://www.forgotten4paws.com/adopt-adoptform

🐾 Applicants can also request to foster-to-adopt (meaning a cat can be fostered on a trial basis before making a decision to adopt).

Go meet their pets

Since we have no physical shelter, our cats and kittens live in our small network of foster homes. We utilize newsletters, social media, and websites such as Adopt-a-Pet to advertise the available cats/kittens. We also sometimes bring foster kittens/cats to the Easton PetSmart on weekends to meet potential adopters. If you are interested in meeting a particular cat, please submit an application online, and then email us to inquire about how to meet the cat.

More about this rescue

Forgotten 4-Paws is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer-run animal welfare organization with a focus on cats & kittens in the Central Ohio area. Our small group has no physical shelter and utilizes foster homes for rescued cats awaiting adoption. We also maintain several feral communities. We have three goals: 1) reduce suffering by promoting the sterilization of companion and homeless animals, 2) promote better care and understanding of animals through education, and 3) aid in the adoption of homeless animals.
