My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sotto is a beautiful long-haired cat who has found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own. After going through many life changes, she’s feeling a bit timid right now and is still adjusting to her new surroundings. But with patience, gentle attention, and a loving home, Sotto begins to show her truly sweet and affectionate side.

In her previous home, Sotto lived peacefully with a dog and handled visits from children very well, showing that she can adapt to a family environment. Like many cats, she did scratch some furniture in the past, but providing plenty of appropriate scratching posts and pads should help guide her natural instincts.

Sotto is looking for a calm, caring home where she can feel safe, settle in at her own pace, and let her soft, loving personality shine. 🐾

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

You can submit an application anytime and receive an auto response with instructions. It is first come first served for in person adoptions.

2.
Submit Application

Our application creates your profile in our system and tells us a little about you.

3.
Interview

Our interview is an open discussion about everything we know about the pet and how it matches to your family and expectations.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

You will use your mobile phone (or our computers) to sign the adoption contract.

5.
Pay Fee

You will use your phone (or our computers) to pay any adoption fees. Credit/Debit cards only we do not accept cash or check.

6.
Take the Pet Home

We are able to send most pets home the same day as their interview. If they still need to have spay/neuter surgery it will be scheduled ASAP

Before you Arrive:

Make sure your apartment is pet-friendly. Check with your landlord about pet policies.

To make the adoption process go a little quicker, here's a list of what to bring:

-An ID with current residence, or proof of residence if it is out of date.
- Any family members or roommates to meet the animals
