My name is Zena!

We have had Zena for 6 years and she is a true lovebug. All she wants to do is cuddle! She sleeps most of the day but still enjoys a small walk. She does great on leash and is not reactive. She was adopted from the shelter where she was kept outside for the first part of her life but really enjoys a comfy bed now! She is 8 years old so getting to her elder years and we are so sad to have to rehome.

Zena currently lives with a pug spaniel and while 95% of the time she loves him, she has attacked him multiple times now, we are unclear on all the triggers and if it starts as playing. We have tried Prozac and working around it but it still has happened again and we can’t risk our other dog being severely injured. We believe she would do better in a home without dogs or cats. She has never been aggressive towards humans although can be quite bouncy so older kids might be better. Her only other issue is some separation anxiety but otherwise she is the sweetest dog.
