My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kendrick is a total heartthrob with gorgeous locks anyone would be jealous of! This handsome pup turns heads wherever he goes, but it’s his sweet personality that really steals the show. Kendrick is amazing on the leash and loves getting out for nice walks, happily strolling by your side. When the day winds down, he’s more than ready to curl up and prove he’s the ultimate snuggle buddy. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts stunning and affectionate, Kendrick is your guy. Retriever/Wirehair mix. Weighs 50 pounds, good with other dogs. Located in southern Idaho, transport provided within the Pacific northwest, if interested in fostering email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com for Kendrick.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
Adoption only within the northwest.
