If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Luna was born in September 2018. Her parents were feral cats in a suburban neighborhood. She came into my home at about 10 weeks old.
Luna has some behavioral issues. She sometimes hisses and scratches at people and dogs. However, she is very loving to her owner. She doesn't like to be held, but she loves to sit for lots of petting.
Luna has frequent urinary tract infections. She has blood in her urine, and she routinely urinates outside the litter box. She forcefully refuses to take medication. This is the reason we are seeking to rehome her. We have multiple people and a dog living in our home. It is a stressful environment for her, and we believe this contributes to her urinary issues.
