My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marley is a domestic shorthair black female who is approximately 3 years old. Marley requires a home where she is the only cat.

Meet Marley! Marley is a very sweet and affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. While she is not the biggest fan of being picked up or carried around, she absolutely adores curling up in her foster’s lap for cozy cuddle sessions. Once Marley bonds with her person, she becomes incredibly loyal and will want to be wherever you are, happily following you from room to room just to keep you company.

Marley has the sweetest, softest little meow that she uses to chat with you, especially when she wants attention or knows something exciting (like treats!) is coming. She has a playful side and loves exploring her surroundings, always curious about what is happening around her. She enjoys playtime and keeping herself entertained, but she is just as happy settling down near her favourite person afterward.

When it’s time for a treat, Marley gets especially excited for her favourite tube treats, and catnip is another one of her favourite ways to have fun. With her gentle personality, loyal nature, and adorable little voice, Marley is the kind of cat who quickly becomes a beloved companion and best friend.

Marley would like to be the only cat in the household.

Marley is spayed, fully vaccinated with RCCP and rabies, FIV and FeLV negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $300. To adopt, please submit an adoption application found in the drop down menu on our website.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
