Ash is a beautiful 5-year-old black domestic shorthair who found her way to the shelter through no fault of her own when her previous owner had to surrender her. Shelter life was a bit overwhelming for Ash at first, so she spent some time in a loving foster home where she could relax and feel safe.
While in foster care, Ash truly began to shine. Her foster family discovered just how friendly, social, and playful she really is. She loves attention, enjoys playtime, and has a sweet personality that quickly wins people over. Ash also gets along great with other cats, making her a wonderful companion in a multi-cat household.
Ash does have a little hair loss in a few areas, which we believe was caused by over-grooming from the stress and anxiety she experienced during all the recent changes in her life. Now that she’s settling in and feeling more comfortable, she’s doing much better.
Ash is currently back at the shelter in our adoption room, patiently waiting to meet the family who will give her the loving, stable forever home she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, social kitty with lots of love to give, Ash might just be your perfect match. 🐾🖤
