My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louis is a domestic shorthair grey male who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Louis! This handsome boy is incredibly sweet and affectionate, and he absolutely loves spending time close to his people. Whether he’s curling up beside you on the couch or settling in for a cozy cuddle, Louis is happiest when he’s sharing quiet moments with his favourite humans.

Louis may take a few days to feel comfortable in a new environment, but once he settles in, his loving personality really shines. With a little patience and reassurance, he becomes a devoted companion who enjoys being near you and soaking up attention.
He also has a playful side! Louis loves his tube treats and will happily come running when he hears one being opened. Catnip toys are another favourite, often bringing out his silly and playful energy.

Louis is a gentle, loving boy who will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to give him a little time to adjust. In return, he’ll reward you with plenty of snuggles and affection.

Louis would likely do well with another cat or dog friend, with a proper and slow introduction.

Louis is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
