This one-year-old, 14-pound pug/terrier mix is pure delight! While she has experienced several re-homing’s from her beginning in a high-Kill shelter in Norman, Oklahoma, she has remained loving and resilient.
She absolutely adores people and forms strong bonds with her person. Her happiest place is right by your side, whether that’s on the couch, following you from room to room, or simply being near. Because of her past, she does experience some home alone stress and may need patience and reassurance as she learns that her person will always come back. With time, routine, and gentle support, she has the ability to build confidence and feel safe when left alone.
She enjoys the company of other dogs but would best prefer to be the center of attention in a home where she can soak up all the love.
Enjoy dog training? Flora has been learning new tricks including how to alert someone with hearing loss to sounds such as a door knock or digital timer.
This little girl has so much potential to be a truly devoted, lifelong companion. What she needs most is a stable, understanding home willing to give her the consistency and reassurance she’s been missing. In return, she will offer endless affection, loyalty, and companionship.
If you’re looking for a loving shadow who wants nothing more than to be your constant companion, she may be the perfect match—and ready to finally find her forever home. 🐾💗
