Hi, I’m Penny ?? I’m a 4-month-old terrier mix who spent the beginning of my life living like a little wild dog. I was out there with my family until kind people were finally able to trap and bring us somewhere safe.
At first, I wasn’t so sure about humans. Tiny me tried very hard to be intimidating with my little teeth and big attitude. But it didn’t take long for me to realize something very important — people can actually be pretty great.
Now I’m learning what it means to be a pet dog. Things like leashes, cozy beds, and getting attention from humans are still new to me, but I’m figuring it out more and more every day.
I’m already showing everyone what a sweet girl I can be, and with a little patience and guidance, I’m going to grow into an amazing companion.
If you’re someone who enjoys watching a dog learn, grow, and blossom into their best self, I’d love to start that journey with you ???
Penny is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $500.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Penny will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of her adoption.
