My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, human. My name is Wizard — yes, *that* Wizard. 🧙‍♂️ Well… I’m not actually magical, but I *do* have a special talent for turning laps into cozy thrones and humans into very happy petting machines.

I’m a handsome white cat who recently came from Chicago Animal Care and Control, and now I’m looking for my forever home. When someone visits my room, I don’t hide away like some shy sorcerer. Nope! I come right out to explore, say hello, and see if you might be the lucky human whose lap I can claim.

I’m a calm, affectionate guy who absolutely loves attention. Chin scritches? Yes, please. Gentle pets? The best. A warm lap to sit on? That’s my favorite spell of all. When someone sat down to visit me, I hopped right up and settled in like we’d been best friends forever. Honestly, cuddling is kind of my specialty.

People say I’m the sweetest cat — and I won’t argue with that. I’m super friendly, easygoing, and I just want to be close to my person. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will happily curl up with you and make every day a little cozier, I might be the Wizard you’ve been searching for.

So what do you say? Ready to adopt a little magic into your life? ✨

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
