Our sweet and beautiful Clover couldn't be more loving no matter how hard she may try. Clover is a 10 month old Miniature Sheepadoodle that is just waiting to be the love of a special family's life.
These scruffy Sheepadoodles have grown in popularity tremendously over the past few years. It makes perfect sense in that they're known for their excellent, very loving temperaments, loyalty, cottony-soft, non-shedding coats and easygoing personalities. Farfel's makes an effort to rescue as many Doodles as possible with confidence they will be sweet and loving family members. Clover has all these wonderful traits and is described by her Texas foster as pretty close to PERFECT!
Clover has had a challenging period of time but is now safe and sound never to be homeless again. But with it all, sweet Clover doesn't hold a grudge and desires only to be the best companion possible. Since Clover is still a young girl, she's a blank slate open to all possibilities if treated kindly and with respect.
Positive reinforcement / force- free virtual or in-person training classes with her family and a positive reinforcement trainer would truly serve both Clover and her people (as it does every dog and their family). Together they will learn the skills to have this sweet as can be dog become a companion that is well-behaved (she's pretty close right now!) in almost all situation. It also creates strong bonds of love and respect between dog and family.
Clover, while possibly a bit shy initially due to all the changes in her life, warms up quickly and tends to be a happy-go-lucky girl who loves life and responds very well to love and time spent together (hugs and lap time are absolutely awesome), and of course some great treats are always a wonderful option. Clover gets very attached to those she loves and before you know it, is on her way to her favorite people for belly rubs and loving words.
Clover loves to come along for a fun trail or neighborhood walk, car rides to dog-friendly locations or just socializing at home, Clover would love to be there as Companion #1. She has such a pleasant personality and is low-maintenance enough to fit in just about anywhere.
We envision Clover either as an only-dog in a dog-crazy family or sharing her home with a gentle, playful doggie-friend. Clover loves playtime and naps with other dogs but would also do well as a single pup if her family was attentive to her needs for play and snuggle time.
Clover wouldn't be happy spending the long hours alone while her people work full-time outside of the home. alone. She is far too people-oriented to be happy with that arrangement. A retiree or a younger person who works from a home-based office would be perfect for Clover. She would love the periodic belly rubs, walks and consistency of those relationships. Being a young dog, she'd also learn that she's always loved and cared for. This is a lesson that results in a happy, confident and well-bonded dog.
Clover has a gorgeous, scruffy non-shedding coat that's currently shelter-sad. She will require a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming and excellent nutrition, A five star food and a daily salmon oil supplement will bring Clover's hair back to the cottony-soft and shining coat that is consistent with her breed mix.
Clover has been fully vetted, vaccinated and spayed to fulfill Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs that won't contribute to the canine overpopulation challenge.
Clover will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Saturday 3/14/2026. If interested in this very sweet and loving family dog, please fill out an application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ completely and submit.
**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Clover, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.
An Adoption Application and an Adoption Contract must be completed before any dog can begin their one week foster. Our average adoption fee is $695. This amount serves to cover vetting, spay/neuter, all vaccinations, temperament testing, transport, a microchip, harness, food, and treats.
Our dogs come from Texas, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and rural Colorado.

Pets are transported from the southern states every week. Almost 100% of the time, the dogs are spoken for as a result of adoption applications that can be referenced under Adoption at farfelsrescue.com. We study the applications. If the app indicates there is a match, followed up by a home visit and reference checks, the process moves to the next step. The adopter is committing to a one week foster (of course the dog can be returned at any time prior), and can then choose to finalize the adoption.

More about this rescue
We own a pet boutique named Farfel's Farm & Rescue on Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. We have had the good fortune to find our niche in the Boulder community and experience success. We felt it very important to "pay it forward" in gratitude. We couldn't think of a better endeavor than to save dogs who were out of time in the southern states, yet had been identified with great temperaments. We dedicate our efforts to their good health and ultimate wonderful, permanent homes.
