Elora “Ellie” Grace is a domestic shorthair tortoiseshell that I adopted from a rescue when she was about 1.5 years old. I immediately fell in love with her gentle, quiet personality. She is a sweet lap cat whose biggest concern in life seems to be why she is not receiving more pets.
Ellie is shy and sensitive, especially around loud environments and sudden movements. She does not do well with other animals and tends to run and hide rather than defend herself, so a multi pet home could put her at risk. Because of her timid nature, she would likely not do well in a home with children.
She would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient owner who enjoys a gentle companion. Ideally she would be the only pet, or possibly with one calm cat. Ellie is spayed, recently vaccinated, and has no health issues. I am rehoming her because I now work about 80 hours a week and cannot give her the attention and cuddle time she deserves. My schedule is unlikely to change for several years.
