My name is Polo!

Hi. My name is Polo.

I’m about two years old.
A White Swiss Shepherd.
And I’m a gentle kind of guy.
I'm currently in California. My bags are packed, I’m ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I’ll travel to you!

When people first meet me, I can seem a little shy. The world is still a lot for me to take in, so I like to go slowly. I watch. I think. I try to understand what’s happening around me.

But if you look closely, you’ll see my tail wagging.

I want to trust. I want to say hello. I just need a little time to feel safe.

I’m a sweet boy. I let people touch me and I stay calm. I’m not aggressive at all. I just move through new situations carefully, like someone who is learning that good things are possible.

Once I settle, you can see my easygoing nature. I’m relaxed, gentle, and happy to share space with other dogs. Being around calm companions helps me feel comfortable.

What I really need right now is a loving foster home where I can decompress. A quiet place. Kind people. Maybe a friendly dog who shows me that life is good. With a little patience and consistency, my confidence will grow more every day.
