My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gold Plate Scraper is a fluffy burst of sunshine wrapped in orange fur. With his magnificent long coat and a mane that makes him look like a tiny lion, he carries himself like royalty—though he’s far more interested in head scratches than ruling a kingdom. 🦁🐾

Despite his fierce, lion-like appearance, Gold Plate Scraper is pure sweetness. He greets everyone like an old friend, happily accepting chin rubs, gentle conversations, and any cozy lap that comes his way. His warm amber eyes and slow, happy purr make it impossible not to fall in love with him.

Gold Plate Scraper is both FIV and FeLV positive, which means he needs a calm, understanding home where he can be the center of attention and receive the care he deserves. But what he gives back in affection easily outweighs what he needs in special consideration. He’s a champion cuddler, a loyal companion, and a reminder that the biggest hearts often come in the fluffiest packages. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a lion’s mane and a heart of gold, Gold Plate Scraper is ready to curl up beside you and make every day a little warmer. 🧡

Gold Plate Scraper is neutered and up-to-date on his FVRCP and Rabies vaccines.

He is FIV positive. This just means that there are some extra steps to keeping him healthy. FIV can weaken the cat's immune system. While FIV-positive cats can enjoy long, healthy lives, they can be hit harder by secondary infections. Please feel free to ask our Heartland Team for a more in-depth overview.

Gold Plate Scraper also tested positive for feline leukemia. Feline leukemia is a retrovirus that infects cats and it can be transmitted from infected cats when the transfer of saliva or nasal secretions is involved. It is usually recommended that cats who are positive for feline leukemia, live with other cats who also test positive.

He is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4 pm-7 pm, Friday 4 pm-7 pm, Saturday Noon-6 pm, and Sunday Noon-6 pm. Feel free to stop by to meet him ! No appointment necessary.
