Armani is sleek, suave, and laid-back. You'll love his gorgeous coat and his frequent purrs. He seems to be fine with other cats, but is a little perplexed when grumpy ones growl at him. Be sure to give him time to adapt if you have other cats. He also seems like he is fine on his own without any other cats in sight. He shows signs of wanting to test out lap cat life and has been a gentleman when picked up, even though it is clearly new to him. He's not a fan of having his paws played with, but we're working on desensitizing him in foster care. He also doesn't really have a good concept of what toys are for yet, but he's watching other cats and learning!

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Cats (6 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all cats, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and rabies vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, and checked/treated for ear mites.

At the center we provide information about our spay/neuter and education programs, volunteering opportunities, and spay/neuter vouchers to qualifying residents.
The center also houses some foster kitties through the year.
Our hours are: Monday through Friday, 12pm to 5:30pm
We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. However, adoptions are often done on the weekend and evenings by appointment (with an approved application)
