My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Found abandoned in the country and never claimed. Deliliah puppy ( just a year old) wiht hound dog eyes and velvety ears. Her situation is mysterious as she had a hip surgery (FHO) so someone cared for her at some point in her young life.

Delilah is a beautiful tan and White Treeing Walker Coonhound with a sweet spirit and a delightfully goofy personality. At approximately two years old, she has the perfect balance of playful energy and affectionate companionship.

she does well with other dogs, is good with cats, and is gentle with children, making her a wonderful candidate for a family home. Typical of her breed, Delilah loves long walks, sniffing, and staying active, but she also settles in nicely for cuddle time after a good play session. She’s eager to bond and will thrive with a family who will include her in daily life and adventures.

IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION. Apply here: www.animalaidms.org/adopt

The dog you are considering is located in South Mississippi, with transport available (for an additional fee) to approved adopters in the Northeast. Virtual meet-and-greets are performed prior to adoption.

Completing an application is the only way to receive a response from our small rescue team.

Submitting an application does NOT commit you to adoption—it simply begins the conversation about whether this dog is the right fit for your family.

If your application is approved and you are a great match, we will follow up with a phone call. We may also reach out about other dogs in our care who could be a wonderful fit for your family.
