Their adoption process

Please note, our adoption fees are non-refundable, so we recommend taking your time to make sure both you and the animal are comfortable before finalizing the process.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Please note: You must have an approved application on file to meet any animals outside of adoption events.
  2. Meet the Pet
    1. This is an important step to get to know the animal in person and ask any questions you may have.
  3. Approve Application
    1. If the meet and greet goes well, you will have the opportunity to begin a two-week trial period.
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Once you’ve decided that the animal is the right fit for your home, the adoption process can be completed digitally.

Go meet their pets

Our organization does not have a facility. All of our animals are housed in homes to help better prepare them for a new chapter full of love with their adopters.

We attend multiple events a month. This is the best way to meet some of our animals and our team before putting in an application. Approved applicants do get top priority therefore we recommend submitting an application ahead of time. Once an application has been approved, this will also open the option for private meet and greets.

More about this rescue

We are Paws of the Pines Rescue. We are where compassion, community, and second chances come together. Our mission is to help dogs and cats in need find safe, loving forever homes while providing them with the care, stability, and support they deserve along the way. Every wagging tail represents hope, healing, and a new beginning.

We believe rescue is built on a connection between animals and people, volunteers and fosters, and a community united by kindness. Our work isn’t always polished or easy, but it’s deeply meaningful. Behind every adoption is a story of resilience, dedication, and love.

Whether you’re here to adopt, foster, volunteer, or support our mission, your involvement helps change lives. Join us as we work to create brighter futures, one paw at a time.
