My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skye is a beautiful black kitty with a heart as big as her bright, curious eyes. Her favorite thing in the world is affection, and she’ll happily soak up every bit you’re willing to give. The moment you sit down, Skye will likely hop over and flop right onto your lap, perfectly content to be your cozy little shadow.

This sweet girl absolutely loves being the center of attention. Gentle pets, warm laps, and kind voices are her idea of paradise. She’ll reward your love with soft purrs, relaxed cuddles, and the occasional dramatic flop just to make sure you notice how adorable she is.

Skye would thrive in a home where she can spend lots of time with her people and enjoy all the affection she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, Skye is ready to fill that role perfectly.

At HSKWSP we do not assign our dogs or cats with a breed as we cannot guarantee the specific breed that they are.  All dogs are labelled as small, medium and large breed and cats are labelled as DSH, DMH and DLH based on their characteristics.
***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.

If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Additional adoption info

*Please note that walk-in appointments are welcomed and encouraged, and will be prioritized over online applications.

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your environment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
