My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lydia is a petite, short-haired girl who will make a fine feline companion.
This cat is black with orange specks, having a golden “band" under her chin.
She is affectionate, quiet, and will be happiest living as an only pet.
This tortie doesn’t mind when people leave. Will greet you upon arriving home.
At times, Lydia will chase a toy or laser pointer, then take a nap in a quiet spot.

This 4 year old looks forward to meals, catnip, some attention, and a warm lap.
She would make a fine first-time pet or can get along with school-aged children.
Lydia is up-to-date on shots, spayed, and tested negative for feline diseases.

More about this rescue

Friends of Beverly Animals is an all volunteer section 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to the care of homeless animals in and around Beverly, Ma.
It got started with Millie the cat in 2007, who was found near death after she was abandoned by her owner and got herself tangled up in her fleacollar. She was emaciated and full of infection and would have died. There was no money for her care. She was taken to a Veterinarian and today she is well again, although she has recurrent skinproblems from the prolonged exposure to the toxins in the flea collar.
MA license #209
