Hi! My name is Speckles and I’m an 11-month old tabby kitty. When I first got to ARF, I was a little shy because it was a lot of changes. But then I met my foster mom and hung out with the other cats at Petsmart, and now I feel right at home. My foster mom says that I’m thriving now that I have a comfy place to sleep and plenty of food to eat. Now, I am looking for my forever home and would love to meet you. I would likely do well in a house with other cats, as long as they are nice to me. I also am a fan of other small creatures, like turtles. I’ve never met a dog, so I’m not sure how I would do with a canine companion. The last thing that I wanted to mention is how much I love making biscuits. If you’ve seen the videos of the cats who are obsessed with making biscuits on their human or on pillows, that’s exactly how I love to spend my time. If you’re ready for a cat who would love to find warmth and happiness in your home, please come visit me today!
Speckles is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. Speckles’s adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Approve Application
Our application checkers will review the information you submitted. This step takes approximately 5 business days.

You will be invited to meet with the pet, usually at one of our Saturday adoption events: https://www.arf-il.org/events/
Sign Adoption Contract
We’ll walk you through the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours!
