Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Fill out an application at:

- Home Check
- Text Your Home Video Walkthrough/Vet Records to 636-210-6166. Your video must include the address on the front of house.
- Approve Application
- You will then receive a text message back if you are approved or missing information needed.
- Meet the Pet
- After approval, the foster of the dog you are interested in will reach out to talk and set up a meet and greet.

Home 2 Home Canine Orphanage believes in placing dogs in homes that are compatible to their needs. Dogs are matched based off of home/fencing limitations, temperaments, family dynamics, etc. This means less emotional turmoil for owners who adopt a dog that doesn't fit and more stability for the dogs. Our rehab process is completely different than traditional shelters. Dogs are placed in an environment, a foster home, that allows them to decompress and show their true personality before meeting with a potential family. Our goal is to give our dogs a better life before you adopt them and to make sure that we are pairing people appropriately to minimize the risk of return.
