My name is Steven Seagal!

Hey there, I’m Steven Seagal. At first I might come across as a little shy and laid-back, but give me some time and you’ll discover I’m a real cool cat with plenty of personality. Once I feel comfortable, I’m all boy — playful, curious, and full of charm. I enjoy a good game, but I’m just as happy settling in to watch some TV with you. When playtime is over, nothing beats curling up in a cozy bed and relaxing like the smooth guy I am. I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe, have fun, and show off my easygoing, lovable self.

Dislikes: Being rushed when I’m still warming up.

Foster Update:  Steven was not too keen on people at the shelter and was not thrilled about being petted.  When I took him home I fully expected him to hide for a week or so and that I would need to gain his trust very slowly.   I am thrilled that I was completely wrong about that.  I opened up the carrier, and as expected he hid under the futon, but 5 minutes later he came out and started playing with all the kitty toys in the foster room.  I got out the feather on a string and he played close to me and didn't flinch when I reached down to pet him.  By the next day, he was next level.  He was rubbing all over me, couldn't seem to get enough petting, raising his butt for some scratches and making biscuits with his little paws.  He even sat on my lap and let me do his nails.  I happily admit that I totally misjudged this little guy.

Whenever Steven wants to play, he cries at me and then runs in to the foster room, where the flying toys are and keeps looking back to see if I'm following.  Smart little guy.
