Meet Paris — the cat who apparently thought a cat show parking lot was the perfect place to make her grand entrance. Back in January, this stunning long-haired black and white beauty was found wandering around the parking lot at a cat show, as if she had just stepped outside between judging rounds. No one came looking for her, but honestly, she carries herself like she already knows she belongs in the spotlight. At about 18 months old, Paris is the perfect mix of youthful curiosity and easygoing charm. She’s incredibly sweet—the kind of cat who melts into pets and looks up at you with those soft eyes that say, “Yes, this will do nicely.” She’s also wonderfully laid back and gets along great with other cats, making her an easy addition to a home with feline friends. Her long, fluffy coat and elegant black-and-white markings make her look like she’s dressed for a formal event at all times—but don’t worry, she’s not a diva. Paris is just as happy lounging beside you as she is quietly observing the household like the gentle little queen she is. If you’re looking for a beautiful, sweet, and easygoing companion, Paris is ready to leave the parking lot behind and finally take center stage in a home of her own.Interested in adopting a companion cat from Texas Animal Society? More about this rescue
Our goal is to promote the health and care of pets in your community through involvement, education and prevention (spay/neuter), to give a voice to the animals in need and to provide a means for others to help in the plight of dogs and cats in need of assistance, care and homes. Through the means of rescue, volunteering and fostering we can help accomplish the ultimate goal of providing quality care and humane lives for dogs and cats in Texas. We strive to work with individuals, county facilities, other rescues and local communities.
Founded in 2011 as MCASociety to support our local animal shelter, we soon learned we should strive to do more and rebranded to Texas Animal Society. Reaching beyond our local shelter to help the community and others as well as our shelter.
TAS is strictly operated by donations. All donations directly benefit animal welfare and care of dogs and cats.
Please consider donating to TAS for the continued rescue efforts and vetting for dogs and cats in need.
