**Meet Ruby!**

Ruby is a beautiful 45 lb Pointer with a gentle soul and so much love to give. This sweet mama has done an amazing job raising her puppies, and now that they are finding homes of their own, it’s finally Ruby’s turn to have a family all to herself.

Ruby can be a little timid at first and may take a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, her sweet and easygoing personality really shines. She’s wonderful on walks and enjoys getting out to explore with her people.

She gets along well with other dogs and has a calm, gentle nature that makes her an easy companion. Crates aren’t her favorite thing right now, but she’s been working on it and improving with time and patience.

Ruby would thrive in a loving home that can give her the reassurance and kindness she deserves after being such a devoted mama. She’s ready to start the next chapter of her life — one where she gets to be someone’s cherished best friend.🐾💛

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

We're open to the public Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Appointments are available during the week.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
