Their adoption process
We place pets based on best fit, not first come basis. EVERYONE goes through the same adoption process (even our foster homes)
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Submit application, Application processed, email to you with status update, home visit/meet and greet set, contract signed, adoption fee pd
- Home Check
- A home check and meet and greet with all family members, including pets will be required prior to finalizing adoption
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Submit application, Application processed, email to you with status update, home visit/meet and greet set, contract signed, adoption fee pd
Go meet their pets
All of our pets are placed in foster homes. We do not have a facility, therefore Meet and greets will be scheduled After your application has been processed. We also hold meet and greet events within the community and encourage you to some meet our available pets there. More about this rescue
We are a registered 501c3 non profit Pet Rescue located in Western Maine. We adopt through out Maine and New Hampshire. We have no paid employees and rely on adoption fees, donations, fundraisers and volunteers to save as many pets as we can.
