Their adoption process

Our Adoption Process
We match each pet to a safe, loving home through a simple, thoughtful process focused on fit and support.

Apply: Complete our online application so we can learn about your home, experience, and preferences.

Screening: We conduct vet/reference checks and a brief call to discuss lifestyle, training plans, and expectations.

Meet & Greet: You’ll meet the pet (and any resident animals, if appropriate) to ensure everyone is comfortable.

Home Readiness: Virtual or in-person home check (simple safety review: doors, fencing, supplies).

Approval & Contract: If it’s a match, you’ll sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped before going home.

Go-Home & Support: We provide transition tips, medical records, and ongoing post-adoption support. If a placement isn’t the right fit, we always accept returns per our contract, without judgment.

Our goal is a lifelong match and a safe, stable, and happy home for both pet and family.

More about this rescue

We actively participate in community-based spay/neuter initiatives and believe in the power of proactive, compassionate rescue work. By partnering with local residents, veterinary professionals, and fellow rescuers, we aim to interrupt the cycle of suffering before it begins - educating and empowering others to do the same. Our dream is to create a peaceful, visitor-friendly cat sanctuary that inspires connection and learning, while launching a mobile dog-rescue program focused on the Miami-Dade area, where countless homeless dogs await their chance at a better life. This dual vision is not just about shelter - it’s about restoration, dignity, and offering both animals and humans a chance to heal together.
