Pet Adoption Fee is $75.00 (we have adoption specials regularly so check out Cleburne Animal Shelter Facebook page for more info on specials)

Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- Available pets can also be seen at petango.com/cleburne
- Submit Application
- Applications can be obtained at the shelter or downloaded here: http://www.cleburne.net/265/Adoptions. We do not have an online app.
- Approve Application
- Our adoption coordinator will contact applicant within 24 - 72 hours to inform of application status.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- All adoption paperwork must be completed in person. Valid government issued ID is required and applicant must be over 18.
- Take the Pet Home
- Take the Pet Home
- Once contract is signed and fees are paid, the pet is able to go home right then. Be sure to check our website for detailed adoption info.
