We work to process applications in a timely manner. Please be sure to fill in all fields and be as specific as possible in answering questions to help us match a great family pet with you or your own family.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Approve Application
- Each application is reviewed, certain requirement checks are made before approval
- Meet the Pet
- Adopters are invited to meet the pets in their foster home. Occasionally a home visit by the foster/AWRC representative may be made.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Documentation for expectations and all the if/then possibilities will be agreed upon
- Take the Pet Home
Go meet their pets
Currently we invite our potential adopters to meet the pets in their foster environment that are private homes. Appoints are scheduled after your application is received.
Monday-Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday: Closed

AWRC provides services and advice to state-registered /non-profit animal rescue operations to help them raise money for their mission. We rescue and foster those pets who have found themselves alone. It is our mission to get as many pets loved and cared for as possible. We also engage and facilitate the rescue of domestic animals and wildlife through many professional partnerships.
