Their adoption process
We do same day adoptions to the extent possible. All adopters are required to meet the cats or kittens before selecting them. An online application may be filled out in advance. All adopters will have a brief interview with a FFL volunteer prior to approval. Once approved, the process is very quick and you can take your new friend home the same day!
Our adoption fee is $150.00 to cover all of the medical expenses incurred by the rescue. There is a $25 discount when multiple cats are adopted. Senior cats are available for a lower adoption fee.
Prior to adoption, all cats have been spayed/neutered, received at least 2 FVRCP vaccinations (as appropriate for age), received a rabies vaccination, been tested for FELV/FIV, beer dewormed, and are microchipped. We also check for fleas and ear mites and treat as needed prior to adoption.

Go meet their pets
We hold adoption events weekly at the North Frederick PetSmart on Saturdays from 11:30-2:30. You can also find us at the Frederick Petco every other Sunday from 11:00-2:00. We are also available for appointments throughout the week. You can schedule an appointment by calling or texting 240-818-3688. Some of our cats are housed in the adoption centers of both stores and can be seen 7 days per week.

We are an all volunteer very small local no-kill rescue that are comprised of all volunteers. We are foster-based, so most of our cats live in our homes prior to adoption.
