Their adoption process
We are a very small non-profit operated by two volunteers who happen to be avid dog lovers. After volunteering for larger rescue non-profits, we decided to start our own to minimize costs and layers of bureaucracy. Our motto is saving one dog, one day at a time!
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Complete and submit our online application. List the dog(s) that you are interested in by order.
- Approve Application
- You will be contacted by Brett or Robin when a decision is made on your application. You should hear back in a few days.
- Interview
- A call with Brett or Robin to determine if the dog is the right fit for your family.
- Take the Pet Home
- When you pick up your dog, you should be prepared with a leash, carrier, and treats/water.
- Pay Fee
- The total adoption fee is $350. This covers TRANSPORT, deworming, all vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter, and health certifica

Wags to Riches Rescue & Rehab is a small but dedicated organization who believe that humans can truly be a voice for the voiceless animals who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. We are not a big organization, we have zero overhead, and our administrative costs are nothing more than an ice-cream cone here and there for the many kids (and adults) who volunteer! That means every dollar goes directly to saving dogs……one dog, one day at a time.
