Their adoption process

We want the animals in our care never to go a day without feeling loved. We are very selective and ask many questions. We want to keep all dogs safe and in loving homes. The dogs always come back to us if new owners circumstances change. All dogs are microchipped

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    Our applications are submitted online
  2. Interview
We ask another of questions to make sure it is a correct fit for all involved. Interview is 45 minutes and we ask to see a video of home/yar
  3. Meet the Pet
We insist that all dogs meet their potential new owners and if they have another animal in the home we want them to meet face to face.
  4. Approve Application
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
Our adoption contracts are very specific and detailed.
  6. Pay Fee
We require a small fee, as well as a deposit if the dog is not fixed at the time of adoption.
  7. Take the Pet Home
In our adoption contract it states that if for some reason there is a reason to rehome the dog, it always comes back to us.

More about this rescue

After 50 plus years of having animals in my life, it was time to give back. When covid hit I found We were feeling useless and overwhelmed with all the bad news. We would often discuss how, little old us, could make a difference in the world. One day I saw a video from Pluto Living that changed everything for me. This beautiful little schnauzer made it happen. I realized that if one gracious and funny schnauzer could make the world a better place, so could we. i5 Freedom Ride Rescue was born. Finally licensed and registered with the USDA, our dreams were set in motion January of 2022. Thanks to this one dog and her mom, we have helped save over 447 lives since we started. Whooshing love to the 4 leggeds!!!!
