Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Can be done either in person on over the phone.
  2. Meet the Pet
    1. When application has been approved then an in person meet can be scheduled
  3. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. When all other steps are complete and paperwork is signed then taking your new family member home is the last step!

Come meet our wonderful adoptable pets at the Hinton & District SPCA! Dog visits are by appointment only to ensure each guest has a personalized experience and plenty of time to get to know our animals. Cat visits are drop-in every day from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please contact us between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM to schedule your visit—we’d love to help you find your perfect companion!
