Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Can be done either in person on over the phone.
- Meet the Pet
- When application has been approved then an in person meet can be scheduled
- Sign Adoption Contract
- When all other steps are complete and paperwork is signed then taking your new family member home is the last step!

Come meet our wonderful adoptable pets at the Hinton & District SPCA! Dog visits are by appointment only to ensure each guest has a personalized experience and plenty of time to get to know our animals. Cat visits are drop-in every day from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please contact us between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM to schedule your visit—we’d love to help you find your perfect companion!
