Their adoption process

We try to be as fair as we can when it comes to animal adoptions. If someone calls and is planning to look at a pet we will make sure that pet is available for them to look at before anybody else. Please call 860-634-1427 to apply for
pets or click our adoption link you will find on GwenLin.org.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    Our application will be on our web-site and FB page soon. Until then people need to call 860-634-1427!
  2. Interview
    Phone call interview with Vet reference or personal reference
  3. Approve Application
    Once adopters are approved they will need to visit the pet, to make sure they are a good fit!

More about this rescue

The GwenLin Animal Relief Program was created in memory of Gweneth and Linda Clark, my mom and sister. They had a real love of animals and did all they could to help them. The foundation is a non-profit 501(3)c. We try to save animals set for unnecessary euthanasia, special needs and any pet that needs a forever home. The GwenLin Animal Relief Program will then medically evaluate these pets and get them ready for their forever homes. We also try to include seniors as adoptee’s as they are overlooked by many rescues. We also offer education about pet insurance and how to plan for your pet when you can no longer care for them.
