Their adoption process
TrustRescue has the option of pre-approving an applicant. This allows the applicant to have an application in for 6 months and can notify the Adoption Counselors when they see a dog on-line, they would like to adopt.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Submit an application on-line. An Adoption Counselor reviews the application. The applicant is contacted within 1-2 days.
- Approve Application
- If, after a few brief checks, the application is approved, the applicant is notified and a meet is arranged.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- If the meet is a success, the applicant registers the microchip and signs the Adoption Contract. Then the adopter and dog go home!

- Take the Pet Home
