Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationGo to our website www.elpasocountycanine.org to fill out an adoption application.
- Approve ApplicationWe will need two non-family references to process your application. Please notify your references so they will be available to talk with.
- Meet the PetYou will need to complete an adoption application prior to meeting with the pup unless you come to one of our adoption events.
- Pay Fee
- Take the Pet HomeCONGRATULATIONS!

More about this rescue
We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit dog rescue based in Colorado Springs, CO. Our goal is to rescue dogs from high kill shelters in other states and get them adopted into forever homes all along the Front Range and Pikes Peak Region. We are brand new, established in April 2019, and we are an all volunteer organization. We are always in need of donations, either money, much needed dog items like dog beds, kennels, leashes, etc, and loving foster homes. If you can't provide any of these things, we are always in need of people that can help out at events and transport when the dogs come in. We look forward to hearing from you!!
