My story

Their adoption process

Adoption applications are taken on a "first come, first served" basis. Although, we will only approve applications that meet our Adoption Requirements and are most suitable for that particular pet. RAS encourages potential adopters to bring their dog(s) to meet the dog you're interested in adopting! You can bring them the first visit, or schedule a meet & greet after you've met the pet yourself.

Adoption steps

  1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
We DO NOT take adoption applications online. You MUST meet the pet before applying.
  2. Meet the Pet
Get to know the pet better in our "Get Acquainted Room", leash walk, or play outside off-leash in our fenced area.
  3. Submit Application
RAS Staff will discuss any additional information or requirements with you when you fill out the application.
  4. Take the Pet Home
You will pay the fees and sign the adoption contract when you pick up your pet.
