Their adoption process

We are open for in‑person animal viewing and adoptions from 2 - 5 p.m. daily, except Wednesdays. No appointment is needed; just stop by during open hours, meet the animals, and learn about the adoption process. Many pets are able to go home the same day.

Please read each pet’s bio carefully. Some cats and dogs are in foster homes and appointments are required to meet fostered pets. We often have dogs listed on our website who are housed in a different section of the shelter. If you came to meet a specific dog you saw online and don’t see them in the public kennels, please ask our staff for assistance.

We also partner with several local Petco stores for cat adoptions. If a bio lists a Petco location, please visit that store directly to meet the cat.

Adoptions by Appointment
Our shelter is currently closed for general animal viewing, but we’ve still got awesome dogs, cats and other critters waiting for new families to come and adopt them. To help keep our staff, volunteers and community healthy, we are now providing adoptions by appointment. This enables us to comply with social distancing guidelines while still finding loving homes for the pets in our care.

Monday-Tuesday: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Wednesday: Closed

Thursday-Sunday: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
