More about this rescue

Kat’s Kingdom is a small 2 1/2 acre organization that is new and the only cat rescue in Lawrence County. Started in January but I have been rescuing ferel, stray, and abandoned cats for about 5 years in our rural area. My passion for cats began as a young child and as a retired preschool teacher I feel I still nurture little ones. I nurture the ones here that nobody sees, every cat regardless of history or age is worthy of a loving forever home and care they need. At our rescue they live in paradise where healing both physical and emotional can truly begin. I am the original cat whisperer and have tamed about 28-30 ferels here and presently care for 32 adults and 13 new kittens. My reward is in their calm and content after coming to us.
