My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

location: southern New Jersey
Ringo is 8 years old, fully house trained, and weighs approximately 26 pounds. He does get along with other dogs, although best if not with a dominant female; he does not get along with cats. Ringo has never shown any aggression toward children under 5 years of age - although his high energy level makes him more suitable for a family with much older children. He has provided a lot of enjoyment and fun to his current family, although he is a dog with some separation anxiety issues. Ringo can be a great dog to someone who can be with him a lot and take the time to work with him on his minor behavior issues. He can be stubborn at times when he doesn’t get his way, although he is not an aggressive dog. Ringo loves to run and play as he has endless energy and will need to be in an environment that can provide plenty of exersize on a daily basis. Ringo will sleep quietly in a crate as he was trained to. He has been well cared for and has seen the vet on a regular basis since he was born. Ringo is a very loving dog and can be the perfect companion for the right owner. Due to changes in his owner's life he must find a new home & family.

Note: This is a Guardian Assistance Placement (GAP) Program dog, meaning he has been fortunate enough to remain in his current home while looking for a new home. Veterinary records have been verified, but we must rely on input from the owner for information on behavior and temperament.
