Their adoption process

Once we have approved your application, we can set up a time to talk over the phone or text to handle your "interview." The point in the interview is to ensure you are prepared for rabbit guardianship. Please note that a facetime call, in person visit or time/date stamped photos of your home are required prior to adoption of one of our rabbits. If you are not approved to adopt from Happy Rabbit Co. you will not receive any follow up communication from us.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    Please submit the linked application with answers to the best of your ability.
  2. Approve Application
    If we have further questions or approve your app, you will hear from us in 3-5 business days. If not approved you will not hear from HRC.
  3. Interview
    This is not formal! We want to ensure you're set up for success in terms of rabbit guardianship!
  4. Meet the Pet
    If you would like to meet your new rabbit prior to adoption, we will coordinate that at this time.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
  6. Pay Fee
    Male $150, Female $175, Male w/ adoption kit $225, Female w/ adoption kit $250
  7. Take the Pet Home
    This is typically when home checks are completed. Someone with HRC will bring your rabbit to you.
