Our goal is to find the best fit for each animal that we adopt. This means asking the right questions to find a great match.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    We ask for an application priot to selecting or meeting a pet. This allows us to be sure we are introducing the pet to an approved adopter.
  2. Interview
  3. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    Actually, due to COVID we are not open to the public at this time and the selections are made from website or social media.
  4. Meet the Pet
    Required in some instances-especially for dogs.
  5. Home Check
  6. Approve Application
  7. Sign Adoption Contract
    Fee payment is part of this step.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit private animal shelter with government contract for animal control. We house over 3,000 animals each year and are able to find homes, rescues or fosters for more than 90% of those animals.
