My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wyatt is a beautiful, seven year old, rough, tri-color, male. He has been obedience trained, is housetrained, and appears to have a softened bark. He is very calm, sweet, and friendly to all he meets and he enjoys being wherever you are. He is definitely a "people dog" and does not like being left alone. Sadly, he was surrendered to the shelter along with his cat friend by his previous owner due to an illness. He LOVES cats but sometimes a bit too much and chases them which is why he needs a cat free or indoor cat only home. He has gotten along very well with all the collies in his foster home. He loves teenagers, which is not always that easy, but we would prefer to place him in a home without small children. He was neutered, had his teeth cleaned, and has all his shots. His blood test and x-rays were normal. He is experiencing some rear leg weakness which we have not been able to determine the cause of so a stair free home would also be best. He is currently in foster care near Santa Cruz. We're hoping to find him a home close to the Bay Area. Wyatt is still looking for his lost family and needs a new one that can fill the hole in his heart. Can you provide the right loving home for this wonderful collie? Updated 09.29.06.
